Diggi-diggi-dong!

3rd and 4th graders in Mrs. Ebben's class have been singing a song called "Diggi-diggi-dong" using sixteenth notes. Now we've added some Orff instruments and put it all together into a performance!

Fourth Graders can read music and work as an ensemble!

4th graders are working on reading pitches and rhythms at the same time. We worked in groups to play the song "Whacky Do-Re-Mi" from Music K8. Students had to figure out which boomwhacker played when by reading the music, and had to keep a steady beat while playing which really tested our focus and group communication skills! It was a difficult, but fun activity for everyone!

Third graders sing and dance!

Here are some of Banting's third graders singing and moving to a song called "I don't care if the rain comes down" from our 3rd grade text book series. Watch as they respond to music through movement! We talk about moving to the beat by LISTENING, and being a good partner.
